The golf course in St.-Jean-de-Monts (18 kilometres/11 miles) is situated near the sea, and due to the sandy well-drained ground, it can be used in all seasons. A number of the 18 holes lie in the pine forest, the fairways of these holes are quiet narrow. From the tee of 9th hole it is, with good weather, possible to see the island l’île de’Yeu. Along the coast the fairways and the greens have the same slopes as the dunes. Furthermore the wind has a firm influence on the game. The level of technical difficulty makes the course much sought after.

In Pornic (30 kilometres/18 miles) the golf course lies in the middle of this harbour-village and has from time to time a considerable altitude difference. Holes 2 to 6 lie in the middle of the pine forest. There are a number of water boundaries. The water boundaries at hole 13 and 16 are especially tricky.
